Rocket barn for tobacco curing

The curing of tobacco can be made 50% more fuel efficient with the use of the rocket barn. SNV Zimbabwe and Do-inc are exploring with local farmers and tobacco companies how to finance the introduction of this new technology and realize the savings.

Training for Philippines Land Bank

In July, Do-inc’s own Claudia Doets trained account managers from LANDBANK in the Philippines on the opportunities to sell carbon from projects in their Credit Line on Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection. This credit line is initiated and funded by KfW.

The Africa Carbon Forum: Putting Africa on the radar

As a company focusing on developing fair and green business, Do-inc considers Africa as a key market. Therefore, we were present in Marrakech at the annual Carbon Africa Forum from July 4 until 6.
The conference marked the 10th anniversary of the Marrakech Accords – the adoption of the rules that govern the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). It brought together project developers, buyers, national CDM representatives and other private and public sector stakeholders, all hoping to tap the potential of carbon offset projects on the continent.
